SITES Ready Program

New SITES Ready Program to Provide Game-Changing Recruitment Tool for Oklahoma Communities

As part of continued efforts to enhance Oklahoma communities’ ability to develop and market viable sites, the Oklahoma Department of Commerce (Commerce) is launching the SITES Ready Program, a new, game-changing business recruitment tool for increasing jobs and capital investment designed for all Oklahoma communities. The week of Feb. 12, four informational rollout sessions will be held in four quadrants of the state, walking communities through the process of understanding modern and relevant expectations for site/industrial park readiness, how to get sites and communities ready for growth, and actual ways to build a sustainable future of jobs and investment for individual communities and the State of Oklahoma.

As the state’s leading economic development agency assisting businesses and communities with opportunities for legacy success, the Oklahoma Department of Commerce was pleased to close the books on another busy and successful year. Stardust Power Selects Muskogee to Build Battery-Grade Lithium Refinery and Secures Economic Incentives Package

Stardust Power Inc., a development stage American manufacturer of battery-grade lithium products, announced today that it has selected Southside Industrial Park in Muskogee, Oklahoma to build a new battery-grade lithium refinery, and is expected to be eligible to receive up to $257 million in state and federal economic incentives for the facility build-out.
