CECPD is Open for Business
Dear Child Care friends,
CECPD is open for business and fully operational!
Although our facility (the actual building) is closed, we are working at full-capacity at various remote locations. We have been working closely with OU IT for the past week establishing the remote system. The CECPD team is also in constant contact with DHS OCCS and our other partners ensuring that we bring you the very best service possible. At this point in time, I feel comfortable that our system is working well. That doesn't mean that we won't hit a few occasional glitches, but if we do we will let you know immediately.
We continue to:
- Approve PDL and Director’s Credential applications through telecommuting system.
- Answer your phone calls. When you call and leave a voice mail our system generates an email that is sent to either the specific staff member or our general system. We will not be able to answer the call "live", but we will answer your call through return calls and emails. When you leave a message, please speak clearly, leave your full name, telephone number, and a message. We encourage you to log into your OPDR account and view the notes regarding your communication with CECPD.
- Update the statewide training calendar - it is fully functioning. Please remember that face-to-face sessions have been temporarily stopped, but there are many online classes available.
We know and appreciate that you are on the front lines caring for Oklahoma's children. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this challenging time. If there are other ways that we can better our serve you, please let us know.
