Winter Holiday!

Whether you've been blasting Christmas music for weeks or you are patiently waiting until Thanksgiving to pull out the Christmas decorations, it is not too early to start planning where to get your tree! Oklahoma is home to 16 Christmas tree farms where you can cut your own tree or purchase beautiful pre-cut evergreen trees and wreaths.
Most Christmas tree farms open the weekend after Thanksgiving and can sell out fast, so don't wait too long to get your tree! Click the links below to learn more about each farm and to see their opening date.

  Pecans have a buttery flavor and unmatched nutritional content which makes them a delicious addition to any meal recipe. The U.S. is the world’s largest producer of pecans.
Today, there are more than 1,000 varieties of pecans being harvested. Research has shown regular nut consumption decreases risk in heart disease and an increase in weight loss. Tailgate Sausage-Cheese Dip
Your classic cheese dip just got better. What better way to enjoy football season than with a tasty treat at the tailgate? Find more recipes like this from the MIO Coalition.
Ingredients:
1 lb Greer's Ranch House spicy pork sausage
1 16 oz package processed cheese
1 15 oz can whole kernal corn, drained
1/4 tsp Daddy Hinkle's dry seasoning
1 8 oz package cream cheese
1/4 cup Boudreaux's Sweet and Tangy Swamp Sauce
1 10 oz can diced tomatoes and green chilies
Instructions:
1. In a large saute pan, brown the sausage. Drain.
2. Cut cream cheese and processed cheese into cubes, and place in a slow cooker.
3. Add Boudreaux's sauce, corn, diced tomatoes and Daddy Hinkle's seasoning. Cover. Cook on low until cheese is melted (1-2 hours), then turn heat to low.
4. Serve with tortilla chips and vegetables.
