2020 Upcoming School Land Lease Auction Announcement

Good afternoon,

Starting tomorrow, October 5th, the Commissioners of the Land Office (“CLO”) will be hosting seven live auctions across Oklahoma. Up for bid are 471 agricultural and recreational land leases totaling 143,789 acres. Leases are typically for a five-year term, unless otherwise noted.

Below is a list of dates, start times, and locations:

Monday, October 5, 9:00 am, Cimarron County Fairgrounds, Boise City, OK

Monday, October 5, 1:30 pm, Texas County Fairgrounds, Guymon, OK

Tuesday, October 6, 10:00 am, Woodward Event Center, Woodward, OK

Wednesday, October 7, 10:00 am, Garfield County Fairgrounds, Enid, OK

Monday, October 12, 10:00 am, Elk City Convention Center, Elk City, OK

Tuesday, October 13, 10:00 am, Comanche County Fairgrounds, Lawton, OK

Wednesday, October 14, 10:00 am, Payne County Fairgrounds, Stillwater, OK

CLO’s goal is to implement live Ag Lease Land Auctions closely resembling previous auctions, as safely as possible. However, due to local and state laws, 2020 auctions will look and function slightly differently. We will require masks and social distancing and follow Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations at each auction. To further reduce risks, CLO will be auctioning Ag Lease Lands county-by-county at all designated auction sites. Please be aware and respectful of the new protocols if one of our team members kindly reminds you of the expectations during an auction.
