The Broken Arrow City Council and the City's leadership team met to discuss the preposed FY-2025 budget on May 14.
The City of Broken Arrow's fiscal health is "very stable," according to City Manager Michael Spurgeon.
The City Council and the City leadership team met on May 14 at the Broken Arrow Senior Center for the annual Budget Workshop to discuss the proposed Fiscal Year 2025 Municipal Budget and Financial Plan.
Spurgeon characterized this meeting as one of the most important meetings the Council annually holds.
"I couldn't be more excited about presenting this year's budget," Spurgeon said. "We try to be as transparent as possible about where the money comes from and how we spend the money for the upcoming fiscal year."
The proposed Fiscal Year 2025 budget totals $490,455,349, with
- $175,658,171 to meet Operational costs

$275,204,378 allocated to Capital outlay

$39,592,800 for Debt service
The Budget Workshop is the first opportunity for the City Council and the public to view the proposed FY-2025 budget and ask questions regarding expenditures and forthcoming plans and projects.
