We know you love the Traveling Barnyard every first Saturday of the month, so now we are looking to expand our kid activities at the market by kicking off our Little Sprouts program! Every second Saturday of the month, we will be offering a different free activity for the kids; from coloring pages, seed planting, to creating their own bird feeders!
Our Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program is now accepting applications! This program provides qualifying seniors with a $50 card to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables! You can apply online at https://oklac.org/ebt. You may also call our Farmers Market Facilitator at 918-259-7000 ext 7421!

Clayton Ussery
Acoustic singer/song writer Clayton Ussery, originally from Louisiana, has been a Broken Arrow Local since 2004! He has been playing music from 1996 and does an eclectic mix of Beatles, Tom Petty and todays popular music covers. You may know him from his local playing haunt, Broken Arrow Brewing Company, where he is often accompanied by guitarist Roxi Reese. Come and check out this talented local musician this Saturday at the Rose District Farmers Market!
Performances start at 9AM and continue until noon!

Recipe Corner
There is nothing like hand-picking your fresh locally grown produce to create vibrant home cooked meals.
Here in the Recipe Corner, we would like to make it a little easier to cook through the seasons!
ONIE PROJECT-SWEET & SAVORY DEVILED EGGS
Time: 20 minutes
Servings: 4
Ingredients:
12 large eggs 1/2 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt 1/4 cup olive oil mayo 2 tsp Dijon mustard 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp dried dill 2 stalks celery, finely diced 1 Tbsp sweet relish
Directions:
1.Fill a large pot with water & bring to a boil. Gently ladle each egg into the pot. Boil 12 minutes & remove from heat
2. Drain immediately & fill pot with cold water & ice. Let eggs sit in cold water 5 minutes, or until cool.
3. Peel eggs under cold running water. Slice eggs in half lengthwise & carefully remove yolks with a spoon into a medium bowl.
4. Mash yolks with a fork. Add yogurt, mayo & mustard. Mix well. Divide yolk mixture into two bowls. Add sweet ingredients in one & savory in the other. Mix well. Spoon yolk mixture into egg white halves. Serve topped with paprika.
Tips
Top with fresh chives for a hint of onion flavor!
