PSO Franchise Agreement Approved
Broken Arrow voters approved the franchise agreement between the City of Broken Arrow and Public Service Company of Oklahoma by passing Ordinance No. 3750 with a 68% approval rate. The new 25-year agreement grants PSO permission to access public right-of-ways to operate and maintain its utility equipment within city limits, providing reliable and affordable electrical services to the community.

Indian Springs Sports Complex Turf Soccer Fields
 The new artificial turf soccer fields at Indian Springs Sports Complex are officially ready for play! Four full-sized soccer fields have been converted from natural grass to top-of-the-line artificial turf. With increased playing time, reduced water consumption, and lower maintenance costs, these fields are sure to be a hit with local teams and tournament goers alike.

Community Services Expo
 The first annual Community Services Expo is in the books! The turnout was incredible, with residents from all over the city coming to hear from City leaders about construction projects, solid waste and recycling initiatives, utility billing, and much more. The Expo was a fantastic opportunity for the community to learn more about the services we offer and the inner workings of the City's daily operations.

City Employees Win Chamber Awards
 Congratulations to Farhad Daroga, Placemaking Manager for the City of Broken Arrow, for being chosen as the 2022 Chairman’s Award recipient during the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce Awards Gala. The Police Officer and Firefighter of the Year awards were also presented at the Gala. Congratulations to Police Officer of the Year Sergeant Keith Cook and Firefighter of the Year Matt Estes!
