Donation-Style & Beginner Friendly Class
July- Buy Fresh BA, Through July, our vendors will be passing out tickets to for up to every $10 spent at the market for the chance to win three Farmers Market baskets filled with donations from our very own vendors! We will draw for the winners on the first Saturday of August to kick off National Farmers Market Week!
August 6th- National Farmers Market Week, Traveling Barnyard, Photo Booth, Performance by Daniel Jordan, and the drawing of Buy Fresh BA!
October 8th- National Fire Prevention Week, 9 AM-10:30 AM, Firefighters will be at the market with a firetruck for kids to meet Broken Arrow's Bravest and see the bells and whistles of the firetruck! They will also be passing out FD swag!
October 29th- Halloween at the Market, While supplies last, our vendors will be passing out Halloween candy to all the Trick-or-Treaters!

There is nothing like hand-picking your fresh locally grown produce to create vibrant home cooked meals.
Here in the Recipe Corner, we would like to make it a little easier to cook through the seasons!
ONIE PROJECT- Summer Greek Salad
20 min. Serves 4
Ingredients:
Red Wine Vinaigrette:
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 Tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Salad:
- 1 cucumber, cut lengthwise & sliced
- 1 large green bell pepper, diced
- 2 cups grape tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup feta cheese crumbles
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 (6 oz) can black olives, drained
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
Directions:
- In a small bowl, whisk together oil, vinegar, garlic, oregano, mustard & pepper. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, add cucumber, pepper, tomatoes, feta, onion, olives & basil. Add dressing & toss to combine.
Tips
Serve with chicken & whole-wheat toast for a complete meal!
