Gateway Markers Coming to BA
The City Council approved the Gateway markers and Iconic Structure design as part of the City's NEXT Comprehensive Plan. The markers will enhance the entryways into the City, and the 60-foot Iconic Structure will help promote Broken Arrow and create a sense of place for folks to gather. The Gateways project will cost approximately $3 million and will be paid for with 2018 GO Bond, Vision 2025, and Sales Tax Capital Improvement funds.

Reasor's, Aspen Ridge Moving Forward
Despite the news of the recent acquisition of Reasor's LLC by Brookshire Grocery Co., the incoming grocery store on Aspen Ave. near the Creek Turnpike will continue to be a Reasor's retailer. Our public/private partnership is on track and moving forward! Construction began on Aspen Ridge, a mixed-use development combing residential housing and commercial businesses, in August with the vital infrastructure improvement of Norfolk Drive. The company expects to break ground in 2022.

Iconic Bells Amusement Park Coming to Broken Arrow
Robbie Bell, and members of the Bell family, announced plans to develop a new Bell's Amusement Park on more than 100 acres in east Broken Arrow, on the south side of Kenosha St., near the Creek Turnpike gate.
Bell mentioned that with the purchase of the 102-acre property, the new Bell's Amusement Park will be 10 times the size of their previous park. Plans for the park include a thrill park featuring Bell's favorites such as Zingo, the iconic wooden roller coaster, the log ride, the Phantasmagoria, and the Himalayan, as well as a kiddie park, high-speed go-karts, and a water park twice the size of any in the area.
