ABOUT TACTILE BREAD:
Jessie and Paul Cristo, founders of Tactile Bread We moved to Tulsa in July of 2020 to find a sourdough bread desert. Unwilling to subsist on a diet lacking the precious nutrient of tangy sourdough, we heroically endeavored to create our own. Not six months later, we were imposing upon anyone who had a mouth to taste our initial go's at sourdough loaves. Tactile Bread is a small-batch, artisan sourdough bakery, specializing in breads, sweets, and nut offerings such as our delicious Pecan Maple Spread. We have become known for our sourdough cookies, banana breads, sun-dried tomato and basil sourdough, and fig and pecan sourdough. We try to source as many ingredients as possible from Oklahoma farms including wheat, nuts, and vegetables. We even have a gluten-free sourdough! Whether it’s our savory breads or sweet delicacies, we have something munchable for every meal and any occasion. The combination of our bread’s crunchy crust and its soft fluffy crumb is just begging for some mashed avocado or our own Pecan Maple Spread.
