For 2024 grant award recipients, quarterly reports will be for quarter 2 (April 01 – June 30, 2026). Submit report and supporting documentation via email to OAG Staff, Jill Nichols or Khylee Rankin. If your entity received both a 2024 and 2025 opioid abatement grant award, you will submit your 2024 report via email and your 2025 report via OGX. 

Optional office hours will be hosted by OAG Staff and Steadman/NiVACK to provide 2024 awardees with the opportunity to ask questions about the final quarterly report submission or the close out process. This will be an open session where you can bring any questions related to reporting or the accompanying required documentation.

For 2025 grant award recipients, quarterly reports will be for quarter 2 (April 01 - June 30, 2026). The quarterly report and submission of supporting documentation for expenses will be completed in OGX.

Jill Nichols, Opioid Response and Grant Coordinator, presented at the National Opioid Settlement Conference in Denver, Colorado last month. 

Her presentation, Oklahoma: Scaling with Intention, shared the story of the Opioid Abatement Program in Oklahoma from the state receiving settlement funds to the leadership of Attorney General Gentner Drummond in directing the Abatement Board to initiate grant distribution. She spoke on the development of the program, challenges experienced, and lessons learned. 

Isela Perez serves as the Opioid Abatement Statewide Coordinator with the Office of the Attorney General, where she works with partners across the state to strengthen behavioral health systems and improve community well-being. With more than 15 years of experience in the mental health and substance use field, she holds a Master of Science in Behavioral Health Counseling and has dedicated her career to advancing community engagement, suicide prevention, family and youth voice, and equitable access to care.

As a proud Mexican American, Isela brings both personal perspective and professional experience to her work, believing that access to opportunity begins with learning and leads to thriving communities. She is passionate about partnering with communities and healthcare providers to improve access to high-quality, integrated care by valuing lived experience and advancing evidence-based practices. Guided by a commitment to learning, equity, and community voice, she strives to translate lived experience into meaningful policy and systems change that improves quality of life for all.

Outside of her professional work, Isela enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and spending time with her family. She is a proud mother of three daughters who inspire her every day. They are her greatest motivation and reinforce her commitment to building stronger, healthier communities where future generations can thrive.
