2024 Grant Recipients - Final Quarter |
2024 grant award recipients are in the final quarter of the period of performance. All activities, expenses, and objectives identified in the implementation plan must be incurred or completed by June 30, 2026.
The next phase of the grant lifecycle is closeout. A grant close-out is the process of determining that all activities related to the award are complete and financial reporting requirements are met.
The political subdivision can initiate the closeout process for the grant when it meets the following criteria:
- All project activities as defined in the implementation plan are complete, AND;
- All grant funds are expended and/or all costs have been paid out.
If the political subdivision meets both conditions before June 30, 2026, please email Khylee Rankin to start the closeout process.

We want to hear from you! Our program is committed to continuously improving the grant experience for our grantees. Current grantees are invited to provide feedback on their experience with the grant program, including reporting requirements, technical assistance, communication, and implementation challenges. Your feedback will help guide future program improvements and grantee support efforts. Email feedback to: oab@oag.ok.gov.

Reminders, compliance requests, and other forms of communication about your 2025 or 2026 opioid abatement grant will be sent through the OGX system. Please add the email noreply@ogx.ok.gov to a safe sender list to ensure important emails related to your award do not go to spam.

Integrated care is one of the eight priority funding strategies adopted by the Opioid Abatement Board in 2025. Integrated care is the implementation of evidence-based screenings for mental health and substance use conditions during routine medical appointments. This briefing document includes an overview of what integrated care is, who is the target population, and what to consider as a community if you are interested in integrated care as an opioid abatement strategy.
