REMINDER: MUNICIPAL NET PROFIT TAX
DUE DATE

This is a friendly reminder for businesses and tax professionals: If your fiscal year ended in March, your Municipal Net Profit Tax return is due by July 15, 2025. This date is for those not using a filing extension.

If you registered to file through the Ohio Department of Taxation’s centralized system, you must file and pay online using one of these options:

• Ohio Business Gateway at gateway.ohio.gov
• Modernized e-File system

When using the Gateway, choose the option called:
ODT Centralized Filing – Municipal Net Profit Tax
Do not send return(s) directly to the municipal corporation(s).
