Severance Tax Filing Deadline Reminder

This message is a friendly reminder to all severance tax practitioners and taxpayers that the first quarter 2025 severance tax return and payment are due May 15, 2025.

Severance tax returns and payments are required to be submitted electronically via the Ohio Business Gateway. If you have severance tax questions, please visit our severance tax webpage or call the Excise & Energy Tax Division at 1-855-466-3921.
