Ohio Expands 2024 Sales Tax Holiday July 30 – August 8, 2024
Ohio has expanded its Sales Tax Holiday for 2024, making it longer and more inclusive. This year's holiday will last from 12 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, to 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, August 8. This holiday is not optional and is mandatory for all vendors pursuant to Ohio law.

Eligible Items: Almost all tangible personal property priced at $500 or less

Exclusions: The following items will still be taxed:
- Watercraft or outboard motors
- Motor vehicles
- Alcoholic beverages
- Tobacco products
- Vapor products
- Items containing marijuana
