OTA event

This month, PUCO hazardous materials specialists Joe Frilling, Aaron Lockhart and Drew Powley led an all-day training for the Ohio Trucking Association (OTA). The OTA provides training opportunities to safety directors, fleet trainers, technicians and company leaders covering every aspect of running a trucking company.

The training took place at the OTA Training Center in Westerville, Ohio, and focused on roadside inspections and out-of-service criteria. Joe, Aaron and Drew reviewed how roadside inspections are conducted, what inspectors are looking for and how violations are enforced. Attendees also received a practical demonstration using commercial motor vehicle parts and accessories.
