Keeping an eye out

Market monitoring

Have you ever played the board game Monopoly? You probably know that it's more than just a game. Monopolies in real life can influence entire markets, but effective competition can help shut down monopolies before they start.

The PUCO's market monitoring team keeps an eye on the competitive electric and natural gas markets to make sure competition between companies continues.

Learn more about what they track and how in this month's News Bureau.
