Public hearings scheduled for Aqua Ohio
The PUCO has scheduled public hearing dates to provide customers the chance to express their views on the applications of Aqua Ohio and Aqua Ohio Wastewater to increase their rates and charges for waterworks and sewage disposal services. The local public hearings will be held in-person on March 29, 30 and 31.

Energy efficiency workshops begin in March
The PUCO will host a series of energy efficiency workshops to solicit the views of stakeholders on whether cost-effective energy efficiency programs are an appropriate tool to manage electric generation costs, and how those fit into Ohio’s competitive electric and natural gas marketplaces.
5 workshops are scheduled from March 2022 through April 2022, and involve presenters from several different stakeholder groups.

OPSB approves solar energy project in Union County
The Ohio Power Siting Board has approved an application filed by AEUG Union Solar, LLC to construct a solar‑powered electric generating facility in Union County.
The 325 megawatt Union Solar facility will occupy 2,013 acres within a 3,355-acre project area in Washington and York townships.

New OPSB interactive solar map
The Power Siting Board team has released a new interactive map of solar farms in Ohio.
The map can display solar farms near specific addresses, show farms by case status and much more.
