Columbus – On August 29, Sergeant Nathan E. Dennis was promoted to the rank of lieutenant by Colonel Richard S. Fambro, Patrol superintendent. Lieutenant Dennis will remain in his current assignment in the Public Affairs Unit.
Lieutenant Dennis began his Patrol career in November 2006 as a dispatcher assigned to the Lancaster Dispatch Center. He began training as a member of the 151st Academy Class in September 2011. He earned his commission in February of the following year and was assigned to the Athens Post. In 2015, he earned the Criminal Patrol Award. As a trooper, he also served at the Patrol’s Training Academy. In 2017, he was promoted to the rank of sergeant and transferred to the Zanesville Post to serve as an assistant post commander. As a sergeant, he also served in the Public Affairs Unit.
