Unveiling of New Ohio School Safety Center to Help Prevent School Violence 

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)— Tomorrow morning, Ohio Department of Public Safety Director Tom Stickrath will unveil the new Ohio School Safety Center (OSSC) which was created at the direction of Governor Mike DeWine as part of his STRONG Ohio plan.

The OSSC will focus exclusively on assisting local schools and law enforcement in preventing, preparing for, and responding to threats and acts of violence.

The unveiling will take place during the first meeting of the Governor’s Ohio School Safety Working Group, whose members were announced by Governor DeWine this morning.
