OBM Releases Annual Financial Reports
(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – The Office of Budget and Management (OBM) finalized and posted the State of Ohio Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) to the OBM website. The Auditor of State completed their financial audit in December 2024 and the detailed ACFR is now posted on the OBM website.
OBM is pleased to report that the Auditor issued an unmodified opinion, commonly referred to as a clean audit, for our FY 2024 financials, indicating the statements were presented fairly, in all material respects, under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. The ACFR includes the state’s basic financial statements, providing an overview of the state’s financial position and of the management of Ohio’s fiscal operations, for July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024. The transmittal letter at the beginning of the document includes an overview of the state’s economic condition and revenue picture. The state’s financial position remains strong and well-positioned to capitalize on the successes of Fiscal Year 2024 through 2025 and beyond.
OBM also finalized and posted the State of Ohio Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR), summarizing information from the ACFR with graphics and data visualizations. This is the second year OBM published the PAFR further demonstrating our commitment to provide transparent and accessible information into the state's finances.
