Great Minds Fellowship Information Sessions — July 17
The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) and the Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE) will be hosting virtual information sessions on Monday, July 17, 2023 to discuss the rollout and program details for the State of Ohio’s Great Minds Fellowship.
The Fellowship is an initiative to incentivize students within two years of graduating with a degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, psychiatric/mental health nursing, or substance abuse addiction counseling to complete their schooling and find employment at one of Ohio’s Community Behavioral Health Centers (CBHCs).
As part of the information session, we will share specific program guidance to help Ohio’s participating colleges and universities and CBHCs offer this Fellowship opportunity. We will also release a marketing toolkit to help build awareness of the Fellowship among eligible students.
We will be holding two informational sessions - one for CBHC leaders and one for higher education leaders. Both sessions will be recorded and archived for future reference. Please use the links on the next page to join; no RSVP is required.
