New NIMH Study Examines Postpartum Depression
New research funded by the National Institute of Mental Health tracked population-level rates of postpartum depression among new mothers before, during, and after pregnancy. This study’s findings support the idea that pregnancy and postpartum are risk periods for maternal mental health.

PCSS Releases New Practice-Based Guidelines on Treating Fentanyl Use Disorder
Providers Clinical Support System (PCSS) clinical experts, in collaboration with PCSS partners, have released Practice-Based Guidelines: Buprenorphine in the Age of Fentanyl.
The purpose of this free guide is to provide practical clinical practice-based guidance, based on available research combined with emerging clinical experience, on the use of buprenorphine in the treatment of individuals using fentanyl and other highly potent synthetic opioids.

Bridging MH and DD Supports Webinar — May 19
The Ohio State University Nisonger Center is offering a series of webinars for all Ohio providers on issues related to supporting the mental health needs of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The fourth webinar, Sexuality 2: LGBTQ+ and Intersectionality with IDD/ASD will be held on May 19 from noon-1:00 p.m. They will offer the following continuing education Credit: Department of Developmental Disabilities (CPD type: adult services, County board member, Investigative agent, Service and support administration, and Superintendent), Psychology, CSWMFT.
2023 OCAM Network Conference — June 13-14
The Ohio Coaching and Mentoring (OCAM) Network will host its 2023 Conference, Cultivating a Thriving Prevention Career, on June 13-14 at the Hilton Garden Inn, Columbus. Cost is $125 and includes meals. Scholarships are available. The two-day conference will cover a variety of topics, including: healthy workplace boundaries, presentation skills, social determinants of health, burnout prevention, building diverse populations, understanding budgets, recruiting and retaining employees, inclusive leadership, implicit bias, and more.
