New BH Manual, Coding Workbook, and Dual Licensure Grid Updates

Medicaid’s Office of Behavioral Health Policy Updates for Provider Resources

The Behavioral Health Provider Manual (“BH Manual”) version 1.28.1 was published on March 24^th, 2026. Changes to the BH Manual include content clarifications, removing outdated information, and clarification on MRSS services.

Ohio Medicaid’s BH Coding Workbook also has been updated to include modifiers that were missed in the 2025 update.

Ohio Medicaid’s Dual Licensure Grid has been updated to reflect primary versus secondary specialty recommendations and modifiers for dually licensed providers in their PNM enrollment.
