The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is rolling out the Next Generation MyCare program today to better serve Ohioans who have both Medicaid and Medicare. The program is now available in 29 counties across the state. Later this year, it will be available in the rest of Ohio.
What’s new?
- Eligible members now receive benefits through a Next Generation MyCare plan.
- If you were in the Ohio Home Care, Assisted Living, or PASSPORT Waiver when enrolled in the program, you are now enrolled in the MyCare Ohio Waiver - with the same benefits or more.
- You should have received a new member ID card and other information from your plan. If you did not receive your member ID card, need to replace it, or your information needs to be updated, call your plan. If you do not know your plan or have questions about your plan materials, call the Ohio Medicaid Consumer Hotline.
- You can continue receiving your care and services through your current doctors for a period of time after the program begins. After that, make sure your doctor is in your plan’s network.
