There’s less than one month until Phase 5 of the electronic visit verification claims validation changes go live. Certain services dated on or after October 1 and billed to the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) or to ODM for DODD waiver recipients will require a matching EVV visit.
DODD recently updated their billing guide to reflect which services require EVV. You can find it on the upper right side of this website. If you still need help, register here for one of HHA/Sandata’s Office Hours, available daily to provide one-on- one, provider-specific support. You can also visit Sandata's Ohio trainings webpage for pre-recorded training sessions. Additional resources are available on the Ohio Medicaid EVV website.

Expanded EVV Options
Ohio Medicaid is proposing new options for independent providers to choose certified alternate EVV vendors. These changes won’t affect the free Sandata option but will give providers more choices. You can view the proposed rule updates (5160-32-02 and 5160-32-03) by searching for those numbers on the Register of Ohio website. More details to come!
Providers who need to update their email address in EVV must update their email in the Provider Network Management (PNM) portal under the Primary Service Address tab. Once the email address is updated, the provider can take a screenshot of the update and send it to Sandata Customer Support requesting the EVV account and eTRAC be updated with the new email address. You can learn how to update key provider information here. Sandata Customer Support: ODMCustomerCareEmail@Sandata.com
