The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) has gathered additional resources including flow charts, a provider dashboard, and a checklist to help you get started. You can find all that on the Ohio Medicaid EVV website.
Coming soon: The August EVV Stakeholder Workgroup is scheduled for Monday, August 25, 2:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. Presenters will address how to be successful, registatration questions, and the benefits of using the mobile app.
The July EVV Stakeholder Workgroup focused on common claims validation error messages and how to address them. We encourage you to review July 28 - EVV Stakeholder Workgroup presentation.
ODM has proposed rule changes to allow any provider to choose an Alternate EVV vendor to record their data. This change would allow independent providers to use a system other than Sandata for the first time since EVV implementation. In a recent survey of independent providers, nearly 25% indicated they plan to use an alternate EVV solution when this option is available.  ODM and Sandata attended the ARC of Ohio Annual Conference in July. We joined attendees to discuss EVV, and the upcoming DODD waiver services claims validation starting on October 1.
Sandata provided technical support. ODM helped with EVV and live-in caregiver exemption questions, received feedback on challenges, and helped resolve EVV issues. Thanks to all who came by to say hello!
