This newsletter contains important updates and information for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV).
Ohio's EVV program is undergoing changes, and as a result, the EVV system will feature updated functionality in July. Starting today you can enroll in the following training sessions hosted by Sandata Technologies.
Sandata EVV Bridge Training
This course will guide agencies and independent providers through the enhancements made to the EVV system. ODM and Sandata recommend that all current Sandata EVV system agencies and independent providers attend this two-hour training.
Who should attend? Agency administrative staff and independent providers using the Sandata system. This training is not intended for agency-employed direct care workers.
Scheduling
This optional scheduling feature for agency providers will be added to assist direct care workers in capturing visits. This course will demonstrate how to create and manage schedules.
Who should attend? Agency provider administrative staff intending to use the Sandata scheduling solution.
Aggregator Bridge Training
This one-hour course will guide agency providers using an alternate vendor through the changes that will be coming to reporting and sign-in.
Who should attend? Agency provider administrative staff using an alternate vendor.
Convenient Participation Options
Two options for training will be available the week of May 13:
- Live webinar sessions are offered May 13 - June 15. Sign up for the new courses at ODM EVV Enhanced System Training.
- Self-paced training will also be offered. More information will be shared soon.
Beginning in January 2024, ODM and Sandata began sharing important information for stakeholders. The webinars provide overviews of proposed enhancements to systems and updates to the program. Stakeholders can access this information through the EVV website and with the links below:

April 2024 Proposed Policy Updates and System Enhancements
For users of the old Sandata Mobile app, it has been removed from the app stores as of April 1. It is no longer available for download and will not be updated with new functionality.
You should now upgrade to the new Sandata Mobile Connect (SMC) app to access all system enhancements going live in Ohio in July. Download it today to ensure continued service and support.
**If you do not use a personal device, please work with your agency to download the new application.
