Vendor to build upon extensive experience supporting Ohio to enhance the current solution
Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is pleased to announce the agency selected Sandata Technologies (Sandata) to continue to be Ohio’s electronic visit verification (EVV) vendor.
EVV is a tool for electronically capturing point of service information for certain home and community-based services. In response to federal requirements set forth in the 21st Century Cures Act, ODM has implemented an EVV solution which enables Medicaid to ensure the health and welfare of individuals choosing to receive long-term services and supports while improving payment accuracy. Sandata has worked with ODM since 2016.
We are looking forward to a continued partnership with Sandata to implement enhancements that address stakeholder feedback and improve Ohio’s EVV program. A few highlights include:
- Enhancements to simplify the system for providers.
- Solution for contracted home health therapists managing numerous login credentials.
- Updates to the device delivery process – requested devices to be delivered to providers rather than recipients.
- Single sign on for easier system access.
