Having Trouble Accessing Data in the EVV Aggregator?
ODM was made aware that some users earlier this month were having trouble with loading data in the EVV aggregator, visit review screen. The system appeared to attempt to load but did not fully display the data after some time:

Centralized credentialing went live October 1, 2022, as part of the Ohio Medicaid Enterprise System (OMES). Using the PNM module, credentialed providers will only need to meet one standardized set of requirements for all managed care organizations, eliminating previous redundant administrative requirements and credentialing costs for providers and other health care entities who do business with Medicaid. To access the PNM module, you will need an OH|ID login. Once you are logged into PNM, you can update information such as your provider demographics. For additional details on the new PNM module please check out this helpful reference.

Stakeholders in the EVV small focus groups hosted by ODM last year recommended that ODM relax requirements for how often agency providers and their alt vendors send incomplete visits to the EVV aggregator. ODM historically required all visits, regardless of if they were in a verified (i.e., completed) status, to be sent to the aggregator within 24 hours of the visit starting.
After review, ODM is pleased to announce that the requirement has been updated. Agencies using an alternate system are required to send visits that are in a verified status within 24 hours of entry. ODM will continue to accept visits that are incomplete and those visits that have exceptions, but it is not required. Please see additional details to this update in #7 of the Alt EVV Business Requirements.
Providers also expressed the need to allow an agency to send EVV visit data from multiple alt vendors using the same agency provider Medicaid ID. Historically, ODM only allowed one alt vendor to send in visit data for one unique provider Medicaid ID. Please see the update of this change in #2 of the Alt EVV Business Requirements.
Your feedback and engagement results in enhancements to the EVV program in Ohio. Thank you for your collaboration!
