Ohio Medicaid providers, are you ready for October 1?
Preregistration for PNM through September 23
Providers have through Friday, September 23, to preregister for the Provider Network Management (PNM) module ahead of the PNM launch on October 1. Click here to learn more and pre-register for the PNM Module through September 23.
Preregister for the PNM module using your OH|ID now!
Why this is important:
Beginning October 1, the PNM will serve as the gateway to access Medicaid Information Technology System (MITS). Providers who are not preregistered for the PNM module risk delays in submitting and processing claims, prior authorizations, and enrollment updates after the transition.
Through preregistration, providers will be directed to create their Ohio Identification (OH|ID), which is required by the State of Ohio for the October launch to access the PNM and the SPBM secure provider portal operated by Gainwell Technologies.
The OH|ID gives providers a single set of logon credentials to securely access Medicaid’s and other state agency systems from any device. Providers needing technical assistance while preregistering should contact the Ohio Department of Medicaid Integrated Help Desk (IHD) at 1-800-686-1516 and select option 8. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Providers are encouraged to use the resources below to set up their account.
If you miss the September 23 deadline:
Anyone accessing the Provider Network Management (PNM) module will need an OH|ID to log in and complete key administrative tasks and processes. Providers who miss the September 23 preregistration can create an Ohio Identification (OH|ID) account through the state’s login system, ohid.ohio.gov, at any time. Once an account has been created, providers can securely access Medicaid’s enterprise systems.
New Ohio Medicaid member ID cards
Members begin using new Medicaid ID cards on October 1 to take advantage of Medicaid’s new single pharmacy benefit manager (SPBM). In addition to a new design featuring the Next Generation logo, the card includes contact information for the SPBM and the ODM Integrated Help Desk. Members who don’t have the new ID card are asked to use their old one. They also can contact their managed care plan to access an electronic version or to download a copy to print.
