Dear Neighbor,
I am proud to represent the 52nd Ohio House District and serve as the Speaker Pro Tempore, assisting Speaker Matt Huffman in leading the House of Representatives and the important legislative agenda that will support all Ohioans. It is a true honor to be the first female in House history to serve in this role, and I look forward to working with my colleagues to pass sound legislation. I also serve on the House Education, General Government, Finance, and Workforce and Higher Education committees.
If I can be of any assistance to you, please reach out to my office at 614.644.5076 or rep52@ohiohouse.gov.

BASA 2026 Warren Russell Award

I was honored to receive this award, and I will always be a strong advocate for our public schools.
The Warren Russell Award is presented to an individual who has made a significant impact on the legislative and rulemaking processes that shape BASA’s statewide efforts.
BASA supports school superintendents and other administrators and advocates for Ohio’s public education system.
Findley State Park Improvements

I'm pleased to share that the Ohio Controlling Board recently approved $7,644,489 in funding to help make renovations and improvements to Findley State Park.
Parks like Findley bring the community together in so many ways, so it's important we make significant investments like this in our parks so Ohioans can enjoy them for years to come.
House Bill 1033 - Legislation to prevent Doxxing of Police Officers
I recently introduced House Bill 1033, legislation that aims to protect the personal information and safety of Ohio’s law enforcement officers.
I introduced this legislation because an issue was brought to my attention by the Lorain County Police Department.
This legislation establishes legal consequences for individuals who intentionally expose or exploit police officers’ personal information, such as their home address, phone number, date of birth, and more.
House Bill 1033 addresses an important issue at the intersection of public safety, personal privacy, and accountability. This bill awaits a committee assignment.
Boys and Girls Club Visit
I had a great time visiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio Desich Family Campus. I enjoyed meeting the dedicated people who make a difference in the lives of local youth. Their work providing a safe, supportive environment where children can learn, grow, build relationships, and reach their full potential is truly inspiring.
Ohio's Gas Tax Holiday
I voted in support of a legislative effort that will temporarily suspend Ohio’s State Gas Tax for 90 days, providing real relief to Ohioans as fuel costs continue to rise.
This initiative is part of the Ohio House Republicans’ broader efforts to lower the cost of everyday life for Ohioans, and I’m proud to support this commonsense measure to deliver immediate relief to the people of Ohio.
2026 Home Health and Hospice Hero

I am truly honored to receive this recognition from the Ohio Council for Home Care & Hospice. Home health and hospice professionals play an invaluable role in caring for some of our most vulnerable Ohioans, providing comfort, dignity, and support to patients and their families. I am grateful for their tireless work and remain committed to ensuring Ohioans have access to the quality care they deserve.
The award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated leadership and dedication to advancing policies that support patients, families, and the professionals who provide compassionate, quality care in homes and communities throughout the state.
The Ohio Council for Home Care & Hospice advocates for home-based healthcare providers and the patients and families they serve, working to strengthen access to quality home health and hospice services across Ohio.
100 Years of Avon High School
It brings me great joy to present this commendation to Avon High School. Our schools, educators, and staff play an invaluable role in shaping the lives of Ohioans, and I am grateful for Avon High School’s commitment to educating and supporting its students over the past 100 years!
