Supporting the Second Amendment and Ohio Gun History
In the spirit of supporting our second amendment right and to bring attention to Ohio's firearm history, I introduced House Bill 1025 - legislation to designate the Long Rifle of Early Ohio as the official state firearm.
Joining Vice President Vance’s Pledge to Fight Fraud in Ohio
 I am taking Vice President Vance's pledge and joining my fellow legislators to do everything in my power to protect Americans from the fraudulent theft of taxpayer dollars paid in good faith, ensuring they are used lawfully instead of being stolen from the elderly, indigent, and disabled by thieves. Those vulnerable citizens who are unable to provide for themselves must be guarded from those seeking to steal from all of us.

House Bill 284 - Requiring State-Funded Projects to Use American-Made Iron and Steel
 I voted in support of House Bill 284 - legislation that requires state-funded projects to use American-made iron and steel.
House Bill 284 ensures that Ohio’s infrastructure is built with high-quality, American-produced materials – supporting the domestic supply chain and promoting manufacturing jobs.
This legislation also requires the use of U.S.-made iron in state-funded projects. Current law mandates the use of U.S.-produced steel products in the construction, repair, or improvement of buildings and structures where the project is supported in whole or in part by state funds. This bill expands that requirement to America-made iron.
House Bill 284 awaits consideration in the Ohio Senate.

From 100+ communities around the Dayton region, including thousands of District 80 constituents, these visionaries have as their motivation the virtues upon which America was founded. I promise to do all that is in my power to support these pro-family, pro-life, pro-faith virtues in the Ohio Legislature.
