This week has been full of district events, and Rep. Click has heard from several constituents about the positive impact of his legislation. Let’s take a look at what’s been Clickin’ in district!
Representative Click had the honor of attending the Vanguard Sentinel AIM Open House and Ribbon Cutting in Tiffin, Ohio. AIM Higher was a bill introduced by Rep. Click that successfully passed through the House and Senate and was passed into law. The AIM Higher Pilot Program was introduced as part of the operating budget. Rep. Click worked with Greg Edinger and Vanguard-Sentinel Joint Vocational School to develop the idea. The program provides additional state funding to career-technical school districts that operate dropout-prevention and recovery programs. The funding for this program is tied to students earning high school credits and industry-recognized credentials. Its goal is to help students who are struggling in traditional high school get back on track and successfully earn their diplomas. Representative Click was honored to attend and speak at this incredible celebration.
 This week, Representative Click had the opportunity to speak to students from Kent State University. He spoke on the importance of civic engagement and the three C’s: Conscience, Constituents, and the Constitution. He and the students discussed pressing state issues and what daily activities look like in the statehouse. He also spoke about the importance of civil conversations, even with those with whom they may not share similar values. Representative Click was happy to speak with these bright students from Kent State.
 The Downtown Tiffin Pizza Party took place yesterday, and Representative Click was thrilled to see so many friendly faces there! This annual community event is a local favorite, and Representative Click was happy to attend.
The 175th Anniversary of the Tiffin Police Department is today. Representative Click was honored to attend the ribbon-cutting and celebration for the incredible men and women who have worked through the years to keep our communities safe. Our police departments are integral parts of our district, and Representative Click is thankful for the services they provide.
