Dear Neighbor,
July was a great month across the 46th House District and Butler County, from celebrating America's 250th birthday to meeting with constituents, business leaders, and more. Here's an update on what I've been up to in-district!
12th Annual Middletown Independence Day Festival
It was a pleasure attending the 12th annual Middletown Independence Day Festival and celebrating our nation's birthday with so many members of the community. Thank you to everyone who helped organize this great event and to all who came to celebrate.
Liberty Township 4th of July Parade
It was an honor to participate in the Liberty Township 4th of July Parade and celebrate the freedoms we enjoy as Americans. Events like these remind us of the importance of community, patriotism, and the values that have united our nation for generations. Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate!
Butler County Township Association's Annual Golf Outing
Thank you to the Butler County Township Association for hosting another successful Annual Golf Outing! It was great to join local leaders in supporting Butler County 4-H and the incredible opportunities it provides for our youth. Investing in the next generation is always a worthwhile cause.
Butler County Fair
The Butler County Fair is one of our community's greatest traditions, and I always enjoy seeing the hard work of our local youth, farmers, volunteers, and fair organizers.
One of the many highlights of the Butler County Fair this week was the Junior Livestock Sale held this past Saturday.
I was grateful to support Charlotte Mignery’s Grand Champion Market Turkey and Wyatt Conrad’s Grand Champion Market Hog, along with several other outstanding livestock projects from across Butler County and the 46th District.
It was also great to see so many elected officials, businesses, and organizations come together to support the farmers, exhibitors, and families whose hard work and dedication make every year a success!
Earlier this summer, I helped secure $550,000 in the State's Capital Budget to construct a new swine and sheep barn and new grandstand seating.
These investments will help ensure the fairgrounds continue serving Butler County Families for years to come.
Butler County Technical Rescue Training
I had the opportunity to observe a joint training exercise with the Butler County Technical Rescue teams as they conducted trench rescue training in Middletown. It's critical that future first responders have the necessary training and preparation needed so they are ready to respond when our community needs them most.
Madison Township by Duke Energy Meeting
I attended an informational meeting hosted by Duke Energy in Madison Township to discuss emergency response efforts at their Madison Township facility following recent emergencies that occurred. Conversations like this are important for ensuring strong coordination among Duke Energy, local first responders, and community leaders. Thank you to everyone involved and for the commitment to public safety and preparedness.
If you are ever in need of any assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to my office.
