Greetings, Friends and Neighbors!
Representative Click hopes you and your family had a wonderful Independence Day as we celebrated 250 years of American freedom! As we reflect on our nation's founding and the timeless principles of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Representative Click is honored to serve the people of Ohio's 88th House District during this historic milestone. Let's take a look at what's been Clickin' around District 88 this week!
Representative Click recently spoke at the North Central Behavioral Health Board Merger Day celebration. Cooperate, collaborate, and consolidate as principles in local government were the main points within Representative Click's speech at this momentous occasion. Mircea Handru was instrumental in the success of this institution, and Representative Click applauds him for his incredible work throughout this endeavor.
Representative Click attended the Attica Village Council Meeting, where he heard directly from residents about the issues that matter most to them. Listening to constituents is one of the most important responsibilities of public service, and Representative Click is committed to ensuring the voices of Attica are heard at the Statehouse. Attica is an invaluable part of the 88th District, and he looks forward to continuing to advocate for the community and its future.
Representative Click had a full Independence Day celebrating America's 250th birthday by participating in three community parades in Green Springs, Fremont, and Woodville. He was honored to help carry the stars and stripes through each community, joining thousands of fellow patriots in celebrating the freedoms and values that have defined our nation for two and a half centuries. Representative Click is proud to support these local communities and was grateful to celebrate this historic milestone alongside the families, veterans, and neighbors who make Northwest Ohio such a special place to call home.

Representative Click is encouraged by the recent decision from the United States Supreme Court, which affirmed that states have the authority to protect women’s sports from biological men. This landmark ruling strengthens the legal foundation for laws like Ohio's SAFE Act and Save Women’s Sports Act (House Bill 68), legislation Representative Click championed to protect Ohio's youth.
Representative Click remains steadfast in his commitment to protecting fairness in women's athletics. Athletes such as Riley Gaines courageously brought national attention to the issue after being forced to compete against a biological male, highlighting the importance of preserving equal opportunities for female athletes. Representative Click has been honored to work alongside Riley and many other advocates in defending women's sports and ensuring future generations of young women can compete on a level playing field.
This week on "What's Clickin'", Representative Click sits down with Mircea Handru, Executive Director of the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Seneca, Ottawa, Sandusky, and Wyandot Counties. Their conversation explores the challenges and opportunities surrounding mental health and addiction recovery services across our region, and the important work being done to serve local families.
