Greetings, Fellow Patriots!
As Americans across our great nation are gathering to celebrate a historic milestone, no one should be surprised to see Ohio at the “Heart of it All”. On July 4, 2026, the United States of America marks 250 years of freedom, opportunity, and unwavering determination. As the Stars and Stripes fly proudly over the Ohio Statehouse and homes throughout our communities, we pause to celebrate the blessings of liberty and honor the generations of Americans who have preserved it before us.
Representative Gary Click is proud to stand for the principles that have defined our nation since its founding—Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Those ideals continue to guide his work in the Ohio House of Representatives as he fights to preserve Ohio's values, strengthen our communities, and protect the freedoms that make America exceptional.
From baseball and apple pie to the roar of engines at the racetrack, America's traditions are worth preserving. Representative Click is doing just that through House Bill 639, the "Right to Race" Act. This piece of legislation is designed to protect Ohio's long-established racetracks from frivolous lawsuits that threaten their continued operation. This legislation safeguards the rights of racetrack owners, employees, competitors, and racing enthusiasts while supporting the motorsports industry, which continues a cherished American tradition for future generations.
Because of his leadership on this issue, Representative Click was invited to attend the Professional Racing Industry Legislative Experience. Representative Click had the opportunity to experience firsthand the patriotic spirit that defines American motorsports. During the event, he met with drivers including Top Fuel champion Maddie Gordon and NHRA driver Clay Millican. As we commemorate America's 250th birthday, Representative Click encourages everyone to reflect on the sacrifices made by those who secured our freedoms and to recommit ourselves to preserving those liberties for generations to come. From all of us at the Ohio Statehouse, we wish you and your family a safe, joyful, and blessed Independence Day.
Happy 250th Birthday, America! God Bless the USA!
Happy Fourth of July!
