Greetings, from the District!
This week has been full of in-district events and interviews to discuss Representative Click’s legislation that is moving forward. Let’s take a look at what’s Clickin’ in district!
Representative Click was honored to join local leaders and community members for the grand opening of Seneca County EMS Station #3 in Bettsville. This important investment will strengthen emergency response services and help ensure residents receive timely, high-quality care when it matters most. Representative Click was proud to secure $150,000 in the state capital budget to support this project.
This achievement reflects the dedication and collaboration of many individuals, including Anthony Paradiso, Bill Frankart, Commissioner Bill Busdecker, former Commissioners Mike Kerschner, Shayne Thomas, Tyler Shuff, and Bettsville Mayor Scott Harrison. Their leadership, along with the contributions of many others, made this project possible and serves as a great example of what can be accomplished when our community works together.
Karen Kin recently covered Representative Click’s SAM Act (Student Athlete Mobility Act) at the Advertiser Tribune. If you would like to learn more about this incredible piece of legislation, you may do so at the following links below:
This week on “What’s Clickin with State Representative Gary Click”, we get to hear from State Representatives Gayle Manning and Bride Rose Sweeney about H.B. 758. This piece of legislation will improve safety and support for Ohioans living with epilepsy. The legislation increases awareness of Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP), improves data collection related to epilepsy-related deaths, and allows individuals with epilepsy to voluntarily add an epilepsy designation to their driver's license or state ID. These changes will help first responders better assist individuals during emergencies while promoting greater awareness of epilepsy across Ohio.
