Shawnee State University’s President's Gala
Rep. Bird extends his congratulations to Shawnee State University’s Dr. Eric Braun on a great President’s Gala in Portsmouth, Ohio.
Rep. Bird joined his colleagues, State Reps. Kevin Ritter and Justin Pizzulli at the event.
House Bill 722 - Strengthen Ohio Driver's License Laws
Representative Bird is the sponsor of House Bill 722 - legislation to prohibit non-citizens from driving in the United States.
The bill aims to address nonresidents who are unlawfully present in the United States; they shall not operate any motor vehicle upon any highway in this state, regardless of whether they are permitted to drive on highways in another state or hold a valid driver's license issued by that state.
House Bill 722 awaits consideration in the House Public Safety Committee.
 Rep. Bird encourages all of District 63 to make their voices heard and go vote!
