Representative Click has been running towards the finish line with many bills this week and continually pushing forward conservative legislation! Let’s take a look at what’s been Clickin' in the statehouse!
H.B. 646, which creates a Data Center Study Commission, was heard for Proponent, Opponent and Interested Party Testimony this week in the House Technology and Innovation Committee. This bill is progressing rapidly to address the growing demand for oversight regarding the rapid proliferation of data centers.
The House Technology and Innovation Committee is scheduled to vote on H.B. 646, which creates a Data Center Study Commission to ensure that all voices are heard, and reasonable best practices are available throughout the state.
 Representative Click recently spoke at the Destination Seneca County America 250 Kickoff event! With the upcoming celebration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of our nation, Rep. Click reflected on our nation’s values and morals that inspired the greatness of our great nation.
 Counties like Seneca County and Sandusky County are what make America an outstanding nation. The hardworking people of District 88 are what inspire Representative Click to fight for the good, true, and beautiful in Ohio’s statehouse. He is grateful for all the incredible constituents he is able to serve!
This week President Trump gave the State of the Union Address at the Capitol, and recognized Sage Blair, a young lady became the subject of human trafficking due to the irresponsible actions of local government authorities. Sage’s story will be featured on What’s Clickin’ next week as we discuss H.B. 693, The Affirming Families First Act with Laura Bryant-Hanford of the Heritage Foundation.
This week's episode of What's Clickin' focuses on House Bill 58, which successfully passed through the Ohio House! H.B. 58 was carried through the House Community Revitalization Committee by Rep. Click and will positively impact the recovery housing within the great State of Ohio. Mircea Handru of District 88 was a great source of insight into this bill during the hearing process. We are thankful for all the great people who worked on this bill. We are all excited to see this bill head over to the Senate for further consideration!
 On Tuesday at 1:00 pm, the Education Committee will hear proponent testimony on the Student Athletic Mobility (SAM) Act, which was named after a young man in our district. This bill ensures that students in small rural schools have an opportunity to participate in competitive sports.
Rep. Click will also be providing sponsor testimony in the Senate on H.B. 268, which creates greater opportunities for rehabilitated individuals to prove themselves and gain meaningful employment.
