Greetings, Friends and Neighbors!
This week has been a busy and productive week for Representative Click. Let’s take a look at what’s been Clickin’ in the Statehouse!
Representative Click had the honor of hosting Skills USA students at the Statehouse this week. The students shared how important a career technical education is with the Representative. They talked about their personal experiences and how the skills learned have helped them grow into the people they are today. Skills USA is a national nonprofit organization that supports and empowers students to become skilled professionals, career leaders, and strong citizens through hands-on education and experiences.
Skills USA serves middle school, high school, and college/postsecondary students enrolled in career and technical education. They focus on developing technical skills alongside essential workplace competencies such as leadership, teamwork, communication, and professionalism. Representative Click is very proud of these students and their accomplishments! We would like to thank Cayla McKinnon for coordinating this incredible visit!
Representative Click has supported career technical education in Ohio, especially Vanguard Sentinel Career and Technology Center, for many years. He is incredibly thankful for all that they do within District 88. Representative Click recently interviewed Greg Edinger, the Superintendent of Vanguard Sentinel. They discussed the passage of the Aim Higher Pilot Program and the incredible impact that this program will have.
This week on “What’s Clickin” with State Representative Gary Click, the Representative had the honor of sitting down and talking with TPUSA students to discuss policy and the incredible legacy that Charlie Kirk left behind. We are very grateful for all that these students do to positively impact their communities.
