Fellow Ohioans,
It's an honor to serve you in the 76th district. I've been very busy this General Assembly helping pass meaningful legislation, attending in-district events, and more. I'm excited to share a little but more about that with all of you.
If you are ever in need of assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to me or my office.

Jo Ann Davidson Leadership Institute
I had the opportunity to spend time with my fellow Jo Ann Davidson sisters in Ashland County. The Jo Ann Davidson Leadership program provided a great service to Ohio women who wanted to learn more about women in civic leadership roles.

United Way Meeting
I had the opportunity to meet with the Summit and Medina County United Way and 211. It was a great conversation about all the wonderful things they do for our community including one-on-one financial coaching, tax prep, coordinating housing services, and so much more.
 Legislative Update
Here's a quick update on a few of the bills that passed the Ohio House recently.
-
I was proud to support legislation that updated the marriage license application process in Ohio. House Bill 386 would require applicants to present current and valid photo identification when applying for a marriage license. Under current law, applicants are only required to prove their age, not their identity.
-
Last week, I also voted yes on House Bill 188, legislation to create the Ohio Israel Trade and Innovation Partnership. By establishing this partnership, the bill aims to advance innovation, trade, and investment between Ohio and Israel.
- I also co-sponsored legislation that works to modernize the state’s amusement ride inspection fee structure. House Bill 433 establishes a new fee structure that more accurately reflects the time and cost required to inspect each ride type, ensuring a fair and sustainable system for both regulators and operators
- I'm also pleased to share the passage of House Bill 253, legislation that I joint-sponsored, which recognizes and regulates the practice of advanced practice respiratory therapists, individuals who perform services for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiopulmonary diseases or conditions.
