Greetings, Fellow Ohioans!
Representative Click has been hard at work at the Statehouse. With session and committee meetings back in full swing, he is continuing to push forward positive policy for the people of District 88.
One of Rep. Click’s greatest passions is supporting our schools and educators. This week, he had the privilege of presenting a House Resolution to Chris Monsour of Tiffin Schools, who was recently named Ohio Teacher of the Year by the State Board of Education. In his remarks, Rep. Click shared:
“This award is more than personal recognition. It serves as a spotlight on what is possible when we support educators who are bold, curious, and dedicated. Mr. Monsour’s selection reminds us that our teachers are not merely conveyors of content; they are mentors, explorers, storytellers, and role models for the next generation of Ohioans.”
For 24 years, Chris Monsour has faithfully served District 88 and its schools, inspiring students to become adventurous learners. Please join us in congratulating him on this outstanding accomplishment!
We are happy to announce that H.B. 144, also known as Keith’s Law, successfully passed through the Senate and is heading to the Governor to be signed into law! This bill will provide a voluntary data base for those with special needs. This will be accessed by first responders in order to provide the best care for those who might need a particular kind of help in times of distress. Keith Jesse came to Rep. Click with this idea and has helped in the legislative process throughout the last two years. We thank him for all he has done to help move this bill along!
This week, Rep. Click had the honor to speak to packed room at the CCV Essentials Summit, along with other Speakers such as Peter Range and David Mahan. Representative Click also had the honor of meeting Willie Robertson and participating in a “beard contest” to see who had the best beard in the room. Sadly, Rep. Click lost this contest to the infamous Robertson beard, but Rep. Click did win the height contest, since we all look up to him!
Listen to 'What's Clickin? with Representative Click'
This week on What’s Clickin’, Rep. Click highlighted District 88’s vibrant tourism culture and the many destinations that make our community such a special place to visit. He sat down with Bryce Riggs and Marissa Huss to discuss everything from the region’s unique caves to the scenic trails and rivers that draw visitors from near and far.
