Greetings, Friends, and Neighbors!
Representative Click has been busy at work this week, attending meeting after meeting to ensure his constituents' voices are heard.
This week, we heard the tragic news of Charlie Kirk’s death. Below is a statement from Representative Click.
“I had the privilege of spending some time with Charlie Kirk last December. Charlie was a gift from God to this generation and accomplished more in his thirty-one years than many do in a lifetime. The banner behind us proclaims our national motto: In God We Trust. That was never truer for anyone than it was for him.
Charlie Kirk’s legacy will never die and as I wrote on social media, neither will he. As many of you know, I have been a pastor for over thirty-five years. The first message I ever preached was as a child and my mom was the only one listening. My text came from John 11:25 and I could not help but find comfort in those words as I learned about his passing yesterday. Charlie believed this and so do I.
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.”- Representative Gary Click
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Kirk family as they walk through this tragic loss. May God be with our nation.
Representative Click had the opportunity to attend a groundbreaking event for a new industrial manufacturing plant in Fremont on Tuesday. Janotta & Herner, KF Ventures, and JLL hosted the event. We are all excited about this new plant coming to our beloved district!
Representative Click had the honor of attending and speaking at the EMS Gala on Wednesday night. This incredible event marked the 50th anniversary of the Sandusky County EMS and its service to the district. Rep. Click spoke about the importance of our EMS departments and the incredible impact they have. He also highlighted H.B. 144- Keith's Law. This bill will create a voluntary database for special needs, so that EMS personnel can best know how to help those experiencing mental or physical health crises.
Representative Click also had the esteemed honor of attending and speaking at the Remembrance Day Ceremony in Gibsonburg. As we reflect on the 24th anniversary of 9/11, we proudly honor the memory of the lives lost and the unwavering bravery of the heroes who stood tall in the face of evil. That day tested our nation, but it also revealed the strength, unity, and indomitable spirit that define our country. We will never forget the sacrifice of those who gave their all, nor will we forget the patriotic resolve that brought Americans together as one people under the flag of freedom. Today and always, we stand united, strong, proud, and committed to defending the ideals that make our nation the greatest beacon of liberty on earth.
