House Bill 210 - Catalytic Converter Legislation
Rep. Bird is a co-sponsor of House Bill 210 – legislation that works to control and prevent issues pertaining to stolen catalytic converters.
This legislation would enhance penalties for theft when the stolen property is a catalytic converter, enhance penalties for receiving stolen property when the property is a catalytic converter, and require scrap metal dealers to comply with recordkeeping and reporting requirements, amongst other changes.
House Bill 210 awaits further consideration in the Senate.
Brown County Soil and Water Conservation District and Farm Bureau meeting
 Rep. Bird was honored to speak at the combined Brown County Soil and Water Conservation District and Farm Bureau meeting in Mt. Orab earlier this week.
House Bill 10 - Legislation Protecting Ohio Consumers
Rep. Bird is a co-sponsor of House Bill 10 – legislation to protect Ohio consumers from inaccurately labeled imitation meat and egg products.
House Bill 10 will require companies to clearly brand food as either an agricultural food product or a manufactured food product, removing companies’ ability to sell misbranded manufactured or fabricated meat or egg products as legitimate meat or egg products.
House Bill 10 awaits further consideration in the Senate.
