Greetings, Friends and Neighbors!
Representative Click had multiple meetings to discuss how he can help with constituent issues. The Representative is passionate about helping those in our district. Representative Click had the privilege of attending the Bloomville Block Party this week. He was happy to see some of you there!
Representative Click also had the honor of attending the Educators Appreciation Breakfast in Sandusky County. Two incredible teachers were honored by their friends, colleagues, and the Representative. These teachers have served the children and fellow teachers at their school for many years. They have continually shown themselves to be advocates for the young minds they teach and incredible sources of wisdom for those around them. Please congratulate Dr. Pamela Faber and Brenda Luhring on this incredible achievement!
In similar news, Vanguard Sentinel Career & Technology Center has opened two new spaces, expanding access for more students to receive a career technical education. These spaces will be used to teach Manufacturing, Welding, Construction Trades, and Fire/EMT on their Tiffin Campus. Let’s congratulate Vanguard Sentinel Career and Technology Center on this tremendous achievement and investment in the next generation of blue-collar workers!
For a legislative update, Representative Click has been formulating four bills that are carefully and specifically worded to bring much-needed tax relief to Ohioans and businesses. More details will follow in the coming weeks.
Representative Click is also finalizing the details for the Workforce Investment Now (WIN) Act. This piece of legislation will establish the Child Care Pilot Program in Ohio, providing publicly funded childcare to eligible staff members. The program, administered through the Ohio Department of Children and Youth, will begin in 2026 and is funded through a $20 million appropriation from the State’s General Revenue Fund.
The details of this legislation are still being finalized and will be released soon. This is in collaboration with the Ohio Chamber as a companion piece of legislation for S.B. 177.
As always, please feel free to reach out to our office with any questions. Have a blessed weekend!
