Through the Declaration of Independence, they lit a torch of freedom that still burns brightly today.
For 249 years, the United States of America has stood as a refuge for the oppressed, a beacon of hope, a global leader in innovation, and a testament to what can be accomplished by a free people under the grace of Almighty God.
