An Update from State Representative Gary Click
Dear Fellow Ohioans and Friends,
Amidst a busy week of legislative work, Representative Gary Click and his office express deep gratitude for the continued presence of faith and purpose within the halls of the Ohio Statehouse.
On Tuesday, Representative Click had the distinct honor of leading a Prayer Rally on the Statehouse Lawn, where approximately 40 individuals—including fellow legislators and concerned citizens—gathered to lift our nation in unified prayer.
The event included heartfelt prayers for families, educational institutions, the military, government leaders, and those battling addiction or mourning the loss of loved ones. Legislative leaders offered petitions before God Almighty, seeking healing, protection, and wisdom for our state and nation. The rally served as a powerful reminder of the true foundation of America’s greatness: faith in God and His enduring faithfulness.
Sponsor Testimony - Keith's Law
Hope and light also shine through the advancement of Keith’s Law (House Bill 144), a key piece of legislation championed by Representative Click. This important bill aims to establish a special needs database accessible to first responders, ensuring they are equipped with critical information when responding to emergencies involving individuals with special needs.
Having successfully passed the Ohio House, Keith’s Law is now under review in the Senate, where Representative Click recently provided sponsor testimony before the Senate Public Safety Committee. He emphasized the bill’s potential to save lives and improve outcomes for vulnerable members of our community by giving first responders the tools they need to respond with care and precision.
Representative Click remains committed to advancing policies that reflect both practical wisdom and enduring values.
