2025 Annual Report Highlights Franklin County Auditor’s Office Work in Service to Residents

COLUMBUS, OHIO – Franklin County Auditor Michael Stinziano released the office’s 2025 Annual Report today, highlighting accomplishments from the past year, from modernizing its tax accounting system to strengthening the office’s connections to the community.

The report, now available on the Franklin County Auditor’s Office website, highlights the office’s work to serve residents through community connection, consumer protection, and the ongoing reassessment of property values.

Among the report’s highlights, the office administered a $2.41 billion county budget, the largest county budget in Ohio; inspected 5,103 gas pumps, cash registers, and scanners for accuracy and skimming devices; and continued licensing dogs across Franklin County. The report also details the office’s monthly Community Connects sessions, which gave residents the opportunity to meet with Auditor’s Office subject-matter experts at locations throughout the county.

“In 2025, the Franklin County Auditor’s Office strengthened the systems residents rely on, deepened our connections across the community, and advocated for meaningful property tax relief,” Stinziano said. “This annual report reflects our unfailing commitment to responsive service and to building a stronger, more reliable office for the people of Franklin County.”
