Deadline to Challenge Property Value Approaching
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The deadline to file a challenge to your property value with the Franklin County Board of Revision (BOR) is Monday, March 31.
To assist property owners, the Auditor’s office is holding a final mobile filing event, where Auditor’s office staff will be present to answer questions and help with the filing of a complaint. This event will be held Monday, March 31 at the Franklin County Courthouse Auditorium, 373 S. High St., from 9 am - 4 pm.
The Board of Revision handles complaints on the Auditor's appraised value of a property and can adjust the value based on presented evidence.
The Board of Revision is a three-party panel, consisting of representatives from the Auditor’s office, the county Treasurer’s office and the Board of Commissioners.
